Just a short walk to the beach, The Point is THE accommodation for kiters and adventurous digital nomads. Whether you’re a surfer, kitesurfer, windsurfer, wing foiler, or simply love that beach lifestyle, our boutique guest house will be your home away from home!
Chill out by the solar-heated pool, warm up in the wood-fired hot tub, bask in the sun with Cola (the house dog), cook in our chef’s kitchen, or kick back and relax while you enjoy high speed, uncapped wifi in our 100% loadshedding-proof property.
There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a tranquil moment on your own, or grab a cold beverage and join the group for a poolside braai. Come share the stoke with new friends who love the ocean and want to explore all of the amazing things the Western Cape has to offer!
Meet Your Hosts
Your hosts are Crystal Veness, Luke McGillewie, and Cola the dog. We live on the property in a separate apartment but are active members of the household in the summer kite season. Luke is the resident braai master and wind guru, and Crystal is your guide at The Point. We are both avid kitesurfers and travel lovers, and we are excited to share our community with you!
Do not hesitate to ask us for tips on where the wind is blowing or suggestions on local cuisine, wine farms, and experiences. We are here to share the stoke of Cape Town with you!

Each of our rooms is equipped with comfortable beds, Egyptian cotton linens, and towels. Ask us for details on where to rent watersports equipment from your favourite brands! We are also partnered with FLYSURFER Kiteboarding and Appletree Surfboards, and can help you arrange rentals or demos of their product range. Additional fees may apply.
Lessons & Coaching
Planning to learn how to kiteboard or take your progression to the next level? Cape Town is the perfect place to do so! We can recommend kite centres in Blouberg and Langebaan that can help you kickstart your kiting journey. We can also arrange advanced coaching sessions with one of the local pros in big air, wave riding, wing, and hydrofoil.
